The History

Old Spanish Trail Cultural Corridor

250 years of connectivity, 250 years of development, 250 years of confluence of cultures, 250 years of life and times of San Antonio making for the beginnings of the Old Spanish Trail Cultural Corridor. Reinvigorating the past, to build new futures, by embracing authenticity. It is a significant element to the history of San Antonio.
Meditative poetry workshop

Join us May `17 for a meditative poetry writing workshop and conversation facilitated by Diana Lizette Rodriguez held within Lorena Molina’s Artpace installation, Cuando el regreso es la cosecha.

Participants will be invited to connect with their senses and ground themselves in the space, exploring themes of home, longing, and return. Through exercises, guided prompts and open dialogue, the workshop will create a reflective environment where participants can articulate wishes of return and examine questions of agency, displacement, and belonging.

The concept of the body as both a map and a border—a site of memory, movement, and limitations—will be central to this exploration. The installation itself will serve as both a container and a catalyst for these exchanges, inviting the writing and conversations to organically intertwine with the physical and emotional landscape of the space.

Participants are asked to bring a throw or towel for seating. Benches are available for participants with mobility needs.

Tickets are on a pay-what -you can scale. All tickets are for the same workshop.
