Mikhail “Mischka” Timofeyev, the beloved owner and chef behind Web House Café and Bar, has passed away on January 22, 2025. Mischka’s sudden departure has left a void not only in the hearts of those who knew him personally but also in the Beacon Hill, Alta Vista, and the community at large, where his café became a beloved local favorite with Russian cultural dishes and a welcoming atmosphere. Mischka gave young DJs a platform to begin their music journey. Mischka also gave back to people in many ways, including hosting a community pantry and hosting many neighborhood functions. He was a pillar of the community that will be sorely missed. Although he is no longer with us, his influence will remain.
