Fall 2024 International Artists-in-Residence Opening Reception

Join us for the opening reception of our Fall 2024 International Artist-in-Residence exhibitions! Our Fall 2024 artists Celia Eberle (Ennis, Texas), Consuelo Jimenez Underwood (Gualala, California), and Julianny Ariza Vólquez (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) were selected by guest curator Beverly Adams, Estrellita Brodsky Curator of Latin American Art, Museum of Modern Art, New York.

The three artists have been living at Artpace since July, creating new work that will be presented at the opening reception on Thursday, September 12, from 6–9pm. An Artist talk will take place during the reception at 6:30pm.

This event is free and open to the public.

Correspondence – A Duo Exhibition

Join us at Bright Coffee on September 13th from 6 pm until 9 pm for the opening reception of "Correspondence," a duo exhibition featuring artist Caroline Gonzales & writer Selina Ramos. This is a free event and a part of Beacon Hills Second Friday Art Walk. Open to the family and all ages. Artworks will be available for purchase and available for pickup, drop off (if in San Antonio), or shipping once the show comes down at the beginning of October. We look forward to seeing y'all out!
