Join us on Tuesday, September 24, for a rooftop performance by sound artist Justin Boyd. Boyd will perform an immersive experience on our rooftop. For this new audio and visual piece Turbine Tempo at Artpace, Boyd will be using the flashing red lights of wind turbines at night as his score and metronome.
Justin Boyd’s sound and video work focuses on transforming familiar environments and landscapes through audio and video processing. Recordings taken from the interstitial zone between the urban and the natural are altered and reconstructed to awaken the listener and viewers' senses.

Galván Jr. and Martin Emmanuel Rangel work together to give new life to the old practice of spreading the news. The exhibit honors those who may have started out delivering newspapers and have gone on to become leaders and make significant contributions in their community. See you there!
