Artpace San Antonio is excited to introduce Regine Basha as the Guest Curator for the Fall 2025 International Artist-in-Residence program. Renowned for her innovative curatorial approach and dedication to fostering artistic exploration, Basha will select three resident artists: one international, one national, and one Texas-based. These artists will begin their residency in Fall 2025.
In her role as Guest Curator, Basha will visit San Antonio in December 2024 to conduct studio visits with Texas artists and select the Texas-based resident. While in San Antonio, Basha will present a Curator Talk at Artpace, sharing insights on her career, curatorial philosophy, and vision for the Fall 2025 residency. Join us for the talk on December 12, 2024, from 6-8 PM. Admission is free and open to the public.

This 2 day workshop for adults 18+, is an experiential learning process experiment with poetry and bookbinding a Poetry book. Please note that the $50.00 ticket includes both days.
POETRY ASPRAYER / POESÍA COMO REZO is a contemplation on how poetry can be a ritualistic process, healing, and sacred practice.
We will have two days of experimentation through writing and visual works in which will be guided by creative exercises, and bookbinding techniques for the participants to make their own poetry book.
Artpace invites you to join us for the opening of our Spring 2025 Resident Artist exhibitions on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 6–9 PM, featuring an artist talk at 6:30PM. Selected by Guest Curator Jami Powell, artists Laura Veles Drey, Anita Fields, and Lorena Molina will debut new works created during their Artpace residency. The evening will also include a live Cumbia performance.
